Directed by Dino Risi. The Franco-Italian Weekend Italian Style stars Enrico Maria Salerno as a vacationing Roman engineer. He'd prefer a little peace and quiet, but his frisky wife (Sandra Milo) insists upon dragging him to party after party. At one of these Felliniesque get-togethers, Salerno notices that his wife is enjoying the attentions of a charming playboy (Jean Sorel). It's all quite innocent, but the usual complications and misunderstandings ensue. Also known as El Parasol and L'Ombrellone, Weekend Italian Style was released in the U.S. as Weekend Wives.

A kind of middle-class La Dolce Vita, in a way.  Vacationing Italians at an over-crowded seaside resort.  Very funny, especially a scene of mistaken "identity" with Salerno and Sorel.
