Directed by Steno. Four vignettes illustrate the cases which come through the courtroom of Judge Salomone Lorusso (Peppino De Filippo) in a single day. Adultery in 16mm tells the story of Elena (Tania Weber) who brings her salesman husband to court on charges of abandonment, a charge which he denies, and says he has proof showing why. In The Priest and the Prostitute, Don Michele (Walter Chiari), a young priest, is charged with wrecking a pool room but claims he was robbed by Anna (Sophia Loren), a prostitute, and beaten by her pimp. In Indecent Exposure, Meniconi (Alberto Sordi) is a man arrested for indecent exposure for swimming in the nude but says he is, in fact, the victim. The last case, Lustful Lieutenant, involves Gloriana (Silvana Pampanini), who's brought before Del Russo on charges of soliciting, and whom Del Russo apparently already knows.

I like this film a lot because on it a petty judge must to judge (?) of course, but each one of the accused ones has a story of his own and that's exactly how LIFE is.  Also it's curious because here some actors will be stars lately, eg., Sophia Loren before she was made  a sex icon.

I bought 10 Sophia Loren movies from the 1950's that I could not find any where else. Not only are the movies beautiful, but they also have English subtitles, which are impossible to find with these old Italian films. You have so many more classics that I will be buying once I get through these 10 magnificent films!
