This political thriller takes the student and political unrest of the late '60s and early '70s in Italy as its background. It includes previously unseen documentary footage of demonstrations that took place at that time. Tension builds as the network of lies and pressures grips both men more firmly.

A film about the unscrupulous machinations of a conservative newspaper to turn a young girl's murder into a political expedient. Interesting, well played, typical Gian Maria Volonte Communist propaganda film.
