A gem from Argentina. Susana Campos plays the title role in Rosaura a las 10 (Rosaura at 10 O'Clock) Actually, when the film begins, Rosaura is pretty much a figment of the imagination of mild-mannered Camilo (Juan Verdager). Using an old photograph, Camilo invents a sexy girlfriend so as to arouse the interest of his true love, his landlady's daughter. And then one day, Rosaura shows up in the flesh, and Camilo is forced to marry her. When Rosaura is subsequently murdered, everyone has a different version of the events leading up to the crime, with the "heroine" taking on a different personality in each version.

Film adaptation of a 1955 Argentine detective novel by Marco Denevi. A boarding house occupant receives letters containing the scent of perfume. Excellent production quality for a 1958 foreign black & white movie. Good lead female performance by María Luisa Robledo as the landlady. The last third was a bit convoluted or obscure, but that's maybe due to the novel, not the film. Things at least got wrapped up neatly at the end.

If a hen eats something, the other hens run to eat the same thing.  This is the moral in this film employing an intriguing plot and excellent acting.   Great quality in the product.
