Like the majority of titles in the MovieDetective catalogue, a perfect print of this piece of immensely enjoyable froth by Guitry - his last. He was to direct and star in his own screenplay, but died before production was underway. As in all of Guitry's work, the duologues are superior and his feather-light approach to seemingly superficial conversation hides depths of meaning.
