I have watched this great film with English subtitle by a website like yt. But I have wanted to watch on wide screen(means on TV). However, WB all right reserved of this film does not allow to make DVDs or Blu-rays in Japan. The reason why maybe this film has a scene killing a child, but it will not change the worth of this film. As for it, I deeply thank to Moviedetective for making this DVD from my heart.

Amazing quality!

Thank you so much for having this film on hand! The copy I received was outstanding. The quality of the picture and sound were clear. The film was in the original language (Italian) with no subtitles (which I prefer because to me subtitles are distracting). The packaging was simple, yet durable as the DVD arrived in the mail unblemished. Until I found out about this website (which was by sheer chance), I had been unsuccessfully trying to locate a copy of this film that I could simply play in my laptop. Now, I have a copy to call my own. Thank you again for everything!

Le quattro Giornate di Napoli

I haven't seen this film since it played since it played at local theater in 1962. That version, under it's American title "the Four Days of Naples" was dubbed in English. At the time I remember being impressed by the documentary style black and white photography, and the authentic locations depicting the street fighting. This subtitled DVD version is of good quality from a clean original print.

I saw this when it was first released at the theater and have wanted to see it again. I believe it is a reasonable reenactment of what happened and should be seen in this light.

Deserving of ed Its Oscar Nomination

Average to good, but it earned an Oscar nomination, and so far in a review of 1962, other than Knife in the Water (Poland), I'm not coming across other foreign-language movies that were better. So a good Movie Detective release.
