A terrific film.Le Baron Fantome "monarchist and misanthrope".A superb atmospheric trip into the past.

The print is not of high quality - visually seems rather dark or dirty.  Still, this is an interesting film from WW2 era France.  The costumes by Dior are quite fetching.  There is a very poetic scene involving a somnambulist and accompanied by a lovely violin solo.
