Two of my favorites, director Bo Widerberg and actor Thommy Berggren. So glad I was able to purchase this rare/hard-to-find film. As usual, top-notch DVD quality from MovieDetective.

4 of 5 Acceptable visually January 24, 2019

Back in the early seventies, many a university radical wanted to see this movie (most likely because of the Joan Baez hit song), but it's pretty forgotten today.  I find its combination of agitprop with lyricism to be awkward if not uneven, but nonetheless intriguing.  Still, the picture, sound, and subtitling are very fine indeed for this hard-to-find movie.
