Antonio's wedding is filled with ominous portents, and Purif flees the city, denounced as a witch by the locals. Alone and on the run and alone in the superstitous countryside, her troubles are only just beginning...

A singular experience

Part semi-documentary, Italian neo-realism and psychological horror with stunning performance from the female lead... Great black-and-white photography as well... Well worth catching.
