Widecreen. Directed by Henri Verneuil. A serial killer frightens Paris by phoning young ladies at night, telling them insults about their lives. Minos, as he calls himself, wants to rid the world from 'loose women' and so he targets them. Commissaire Letellier (Jean-Paul Belmondo) is given the investigation and has a hard time with the maniac. Boasting some truly jaw-dropping stunts, a memorable villain, and location filming, Fear Over the City is regarded by many as some of Belmondo's best work.

I have purchased several dozen movies from here over the last few months & I have yet to be disappointed. Every vintage foreign film (mainly French or Italian) I have watched has been excellent in every way - video clarity, sound, and especially the hard-to-find clear & well-translated English captions that one can seldom find on sites like Amazon.
