Beautiful copy of a film I had not expected to see again.

An emotionally rich film, always engaging thanks to the pace, the rhythm of the camera techniques and editing. Makes you care for the characters, as the best Italian films - always in sympathy with humankind - do. Highly recommended. Of MovieDetective's other films, it's perhaps closest to Mauro Bolognini's 'Agostino'. Thanks MovieDetective.
