Great resource

Great to find a source for hard to find films. Would have liked the DVD to have come in a standard DVD box, but it's a small thing.

I saw this movie in 1947 and I love it. I have been reading about the director Emilio (El Indio ) Fernandes and I wanted to see it again the quality of the DVD was excellent

La Perla is excellent

This is worthy as a moral tale of greed and collective good will working out the underlying conflict with beautiful cinematography in a setting unfamiliar to this century in the United States.

Was very pleased with the speediness of sending and the quality, considering the age of the picture was excellent.
Would order again if you have titles that I wish

Superb cinematography and everything else

It's not surprising the quality of the photography on this title, since is the work of Gabriel Figueroa, but here he excels himself. Nobel laureate John Steinbeck wrote the screenplay on his own novella. Pedro Armendáriz & Maria Elena Marqués don't seems to be acting, but living the story. An Emilio Fernández masterpiece
