UNKNOWN MASTER PIECE AND IT'SA SHAME...

AMAZING! CREEPY! EVEN IF I DON'T APPRECIATE THE TWO FRENCH ACTORS (ESPECIALLY ANNA KARINA WHO WAS THE FAVOURITE ACTRESS OF JEAN LUC GODARD= BEURCK!!!) WE CAN CALL THIS FILM: A MASTERPIECE. THE DIRECTING IS ASTONISHING, THE PHOTOGRAPHY: EXTRAORDINARY AND THE ATMOSPHERE IS GREAT...

A curiosity
May 24, 2018
Reviewer: Patrick Hunter from Panorama City, CA United States
This film is weirdly unavailable in any other form, so, although full-frame and taken from a video copy, it's something to appreciate for what it is. The copy is watchable, and the drama is, well, a curiosity and definitely of interest to fans of Valdimir Nabokov, or Tony Richardson, or Nicol Williamson

Tragic and fascinating
June 20, 2014

Obsession and the devastation that follows, a common theme for both Nabokov and Richardson. Williamson, Karina, and Drouot are perfectly cast. Beautiful locations are ironically used, considering the ugly behavior and the level of suffering that takes place within them.

Great service

Reviewer: Doug McKirahan from SAN FRANCISCO, CA United States
I had been looking for this film for years, but had been told it was been locked away in a vault and no one had a copy! Movie Detective is a great service with very fast shipping! I continue to check their new releases and hope to do business with them in the future.
