A cinematographic marvel. This film is the stuff that dreams are made on. A tragically ironic romance of tangled lives;of youth and love and honor and friendship.  Brigitte Fossey is so lovely. A beautiful and cruel and amazing film.

When I think of Brigitte Fossey I think of her as the beautiful little girl in Forbidden Games. In this she is all grown up and still beautiful. In fact the whole film was beautiful. Many thanks.

I've been looking for this for decades, and found it here. All OK : it arrived (eventually), it works (even here in the UK, which I had not fully expected). Not cheap when shipping is added, but no alternatives. Briliant!

Le Grand Meaulnes (The Wanderer), A Brilliant & Beautiful Romantic Coming of Age, base on Alain-Fournier's Classic Novel. This Original 1967, Not the 2006 remake. This Version of the French Treasure of a Film, Very hard to find DVD w/English Subtitles.

I had been looking for a DVD of the 1967 French film (with an English subtitles option) "Le Grande Meaulnes" for decades. At $12.50 this was a very fair price and the only copy I have ever seen available. No case or booklet but everything else just fine.
