Another film I have wanted to add to my collection. It's the definitive version IMO. It's a good copy and I am glad to get it. I will be purchasing more films from MD in the future.

I only wish more films were available. In particular, Geraldine Chaplin in The House Of Mirth.

Considering the film is almost ninety years old, it's in amazingly watchable shape. Neither print nor sound can be first-rate due to the age, but this is about as good as one can expect; it is superior to the old Film Classics VHS, and seems to comes from original elements.

Yes, it was made in 1929 and is a little dated, but that did not lessen the enjoyment of seeing it. You have no trouble understanding that Gary Cooper was on his way to stardom, and Walter Huston is having some fun as the very bad Trampas.
